Tropical Pineapple Ginger Sauce

This sauce balances the sweet pineapple flavor with red Hatch chiles, warm ginger and the nutty aroma of sesame oil, creating a versatile sauce that is perfect for glazes, marinades and dipping.

Ingredient Measure
Del Monte® Pineapple Red Hatch Chile Sauce 3/4 cup
Roasted Sesame oil 1 tsp
Pickled Ginger, finely chopped 2 tsp
Cilantro, finely chopped 1 tsp
Kosher salt 1/2 tsp

Applications:

Use as a salad and slaw dressing.

Toss in cooked wings or cauliflower.

Chicken sandwich sauce.

Base for a flatbread.

Serve with fish, beef or chicken tacos.

Makes a great marinade for fish, chicken and beef.

Directions:

  1. Combine and whisk well.
  2. Hold refrigerated until ready to use.
  3. Add cilantro on the day of service.
